| "Yadira: I am honoured to have been your first student in Adventure of Learning Spanish! It has been a wonderful set of adventures. You have helped me a great deal to my intentions to one day become fluent in Spanish. I appreciate your teaching style of total immersion and especially your incorporation of everyday activities. I will definitely recommend you to friends and various websites. Please contact me if/when you choose to visit Minnesota! Best wishes for success with your new business." November 2005 Debra Halsne |
| Yadira Rios is an excellent Spanish teacher. My wife and I stayed at the Brisas del Mar hotel in Zihuatanejo two weeks ago, and the staff arranged for Yadira to come to the hotel every morning for an hour. We were in Mexico for only one week, so I couldn't take her extended course, but Yadira and another young woman named Erandi worked with me every day to improve my Spanish. Their enthusiasm and energy helped me to improve my listening skills, and taught me how to read faster in Spanish. I highly recommend Yadira. I have studied Spanish for three years here in Boston, but I had never been to Mexico before. I liked the way that Yadira quickly determined my strengths and weaknesses in Spanish, and then focused on those areas for the next five days. I think that she would use the same method for a student at any level, from beginner to advanced conversation. She seems to have a gift for sensing exactly what a person needs to move forward in Spanish. She also teaches French. She speaks English very well, and has traveled a lot in the U.S. I emailed her last week to thank her, and she responded right away, saying that she would be glad to answer any Spanish questions in the future. If we go to Zihuatanejo again, I will arrange more classes with her. Enjoy your trip to Mexico! John Boyles, Boston, MA |
